 This contract position requires an on-site presence, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Neurologist with 77 Consultants, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological conditions, working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is integral to advancing our mission of providing high-quality medical care while also focusing on continuous improvement in clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations
• Diagnose and manage neurological disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Participate in patient education and community outreach initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in neurology to inform practice
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
• Associate-level experience in neurology or related field
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is preferred

Schedule: 7a-7p, 7 on/7 off

No call requirement

Setting: Inpatient

Patient Volume: 10-20 per day, 2-8 admissions per day

Duties: General neurology and vascular stroke/emergency consults

Preferred Procedures: Lumbar puncture

Will be working with residents, 1:4 ratio

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified

Additional Certifications: DEA

Paid travel & expenses
