Job Description

This job schedule is primarily in the afternoon, from 3 pm to 8:30pm weekdays, and 11 am to 4:30pm on weekends.

Main Responsibilities for a Dishwasher:

• Consistently ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pans, and pots.
• Maintain a clean work environment by cleaning kitchen equipment (pans, pots, dishes, bowls) and appliances (mixers, stoves, refridgeration).

Dishwasher Job Description:

We have a vacant spot for a well-organized and committed dishwasher. Our culinary environment is fast-paced and we expect you to be able to work as part of a team.

Your main duties will include

+ cleaning, washing, and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans

+ assisting with prep work including filling sauce bottles, portioning meats

+ cleaning cook stations, appliances, sweeping, mopping

+ assist with unloading delivery trucks

Our goal is to employ a person with excellent time management and communication skills.

You will be working in a kitchen. This means that you will also have to abide by food safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities of a Dishwasher:

• Maintaining a clean and well-organized working environment
• Maintaining the availability of clean dishes at all times
• Cleaning kitchen appliances and equipment
• Helping other team members to unload and store deliveries
• Assist other staff members with tasks when the need arises
• Adhere to food safety procedures and regulations
• Taking out the trash
• Cleaning garbage cans
• Possible training for prep/line cook position

Dishwasher Job Requirements:

• Must have prior work experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant
• Must be familiar with and follow food safety procedures
• Must have sufficient communication skills
• Must be able to prioritize tasks and adjust as business needs change
