$2,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR CERTIFIED DIALYSIS CLINICAL TECHNICIANS

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dialysis Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in patient care and a passion for helping individuals with kidney disease. As a Clinical Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing dialysis treatments and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

St. Joseph Dialysis is an outpatient dialysis facility. The facility oversees peritoneal and home dialysis patients. Census is 98 incenter patients. 

The department is staffed with Nephrologists, Registered Nurses, and Dialysis Clinical Technicians. The unit has multiple support staff members including the front desk team and tech leader staff (machine maintenance) that may assist with operational duties within the clinic. 

Our team provides patient education as well as referrals to transplant services for sites the patient requests to be referred to. 

The unit is typically open Monday through Saturday 5:00 am to 5:30 pm for patient care hours with some flexibility based on the clinic's needs.

  • **Deliver expert dialysis care** by performing treatments according to prescribed protocols and physician orders—you'll be the skilled professional patients can trust.
  • **Keep a close eye on patients** during treatment, monitoring vital signs and responding quickly to any changes in their condition with confidence and compassion.
  • **Master the art of setting up and operating** dialysis machines, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues like a pro.
  • **Skillfully administer medications and intravenous fluids** as prescribed by physicians, ensuring precision and safety every time.
  • **Be the go-to educator** for patients and their families, helping them understand dialysis procedures, dietary restrictions, and self-care techniques in a way that clicks.
  • **Keep meticulous records** that are accurate and complete, documenting treatment activities and patient progress with attention to detail.
  • **Champion infection control protocols and safety standards** throughout the dialysis unit, protecting both patients and your team.
  • **Drive continuous improvement** by participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education—because there's always something new to learn and ways to get better.

Qualifications



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of a dialysis technician training program preferred.
  • Certification as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required within 18-months of employment.
