About The Role

We are looking for Depot Specialists to support the daily operations of autonomous vehicle (AV) and robotaxi fleets across Europe.

As a Depot Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring autonomous vehicles are clean, fully charged, inspected, and operationally ready for daily deployment. Working from a dedicated robotaxi depot, you will support vehicle preparation, fleet readiness, inventory management, and day-to-day depot operations that enable safe and reliable autonomous ride-hailing services.

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, are highly organized, and thrive in fast-paced operational environments. No previous experience with autonomous vehicles is required - training will be provided.

By joining our team, you will contribute directly to the successful launch, operation, and scaling of robotaxi fleets and autonomous mobility services across multiple European cities.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Readiness

  • Prepare autonomous vehicles for daily robotaxi fleet operations
  • Ensure every vehicle is cleaned, inspected, charged, and deployment-ready before the start of each shift
  • Verify the cleanliness and condition of cameras, LiDAR, radar, mirrors, sensors, windows, and vehicle interiors to support optimal self-driving system performance
  • Perform pre-deployment and post-shift inspections following established operational procedures
  • Monitor battery levels and charging schedules for electric autonomous vehicles

Depot Operations

  • Support daily robotaxi depot operations by coordinating vehicle movement, parking, charging, and staging
  • Assist with vehicle dispatch and return processes
  • Organize parking areas to maximize operational efficiency
  • Maintain depot cleanliness and ensure work areas comply with safety standards
  • Coordinate vehicle availability with Safety Operators, Technicians, and Operations Leads

Vehicle Support

  • Perform basic vehicle functionality checks before deployment
  • Verify tire condition, lighting, fluid levels, charging equipment, and general vehicle condition
  • Identify cosmetic damage or operational issues requiring technical inspection
  • Escalate maintenance concerns to Senior Technicians or SDS Specialists
  • Support vehicle recovery and transportation activities when required

Inventory & Logistics

  • Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, charging accessories, PPE, and operational equipment
  • Track inventory usage and report replenishment needs
  • Receive deliveries and organize depot storage areas
  • Assist with logistics supporting fleet expansion and new depot launches

Documentation & Compliance

  • Complete digital inspection checklists and fleet readiness reports
  • Record vehicle status, charging information, and operational observations
  • Follow depot safety procedures and company operational standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase fleet availability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid driver's license
  • Comfortable driving both electric and conventional vehicles
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
  • Upper-Intermediate English

Preferred

  • Experience in fleet operations, logistics, warehouse operations, automotive detailing, or transportation
  • Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs)
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Experience supporting 24/7 operational environments
  • Forklift certification or logistics experience is an advantage

What We're Looking For

Successful Depot Specialists are maintaining high operational standards and understand that vehicle readiness is critical to the success of autonomous vehicle fleets and commercial robotaxi operations.

You enjoy structured work, have excellent attention to detail, and understand the importance of ensuring every autonomous vehicle leaves the depot clean, charged, safe, and fully prepared for customer service or testing operations.

No previous robotaxi or autonomous vehicle experience is required - we provide comprehensive training on depot procedures, vehicle preparation, and fleet operations.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to support some of Europe's most advanced robotaxi and autonomous vehicle programs
  • Work with cutting-edge electric and autonomous vehicles
  • Comprehensive onboarding and operational training
  • Long-term career opportunities within fleet operations, autonomous mobility, and robotaxi deployment
  • Exposure to depot management, fleet readiness, vehicle operations, and commercial autonomous ride-hailing services
  • Collaborative environment working alongside Safety Operators, Technicians, Engineers, and Fleet Operations teams
  • Opportunity to support new city launches, depot setup, and the expansion of autonomous ride-hailing fleets across Europe

These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans.
